It is a beautiful piece of furniture. The desk would enhance the look of your home office or your home away from home office. I purchased the desk about 12 years ago from an executive office. The desk contains a number of scratches and dings in addition to missing some small trim detail pieces from its time in the corporate office. It is constructed of solid wood. It comes apart in 3 pieces....the top lifts off the 2 base pieces. I also have 2 hand carved chairs available that compliment the desk.
